Amazing God

One week passed!

Teaching in the Bible school:

3rd batch of students with new and old faces. Haha still find so difficult to remember their names but I am glad to see familiar faces. Faces that had walked through with me for the last 3 years and it is thrilling to see the fruits of labour. People like Gopal, Pritee and Bina make me feel warmth like going back to niang jia. This time, it was more relaxing and easy to teach. No PowerPoint, no ice breakers, no sweets yet God uses this mouthpiece to teach the book of Ruth. It is not the methods of teaching, but it is the Lord that makes the difference. I have found a great joy in teaching here as the students have the hunger to learn more. Sometimes I felt that I can't give as much as they long for. Praise God for them as they reignite the fire and passion of teaching within me.

That's the reason why I keep coming back :)

Ministry at Burdwan church
:

First night of ministry preaching to a 150 size church with all eyes looking at us when we walked into the hall. Powerful worship with hungry people crying out to the Lord. I really don't know what to preach, so really depending on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The presence of the Lord was there that He just moved among the congregation.

The ministry did not end here.

Suddenly there was a hand that pulled me while i was conversing with the people. The hand pulled me to this lady that caught my attention before the service when she was being carried in by 4 men. That reminded me the story of the paralysed man being pulled down by 4 men from the roof. Likewise she is paralysed and suffered from brain tumour. Because of the tumour, she was in the daze and could not speak. After praying for her, the Holy Spirit whispered that the work was not done yet. I decided to stoop down and look into her eyes. She was still in the daze and the eye balls were fixed at one direction. I asked the daughter if she is saved and received the negative reply. I asked the lady if she wanted to receive Christ, she would move her fingers. Upon asking the third time, i suddenly realised maybe she has difficulty moving her fingers, so i asked her to move her eyeballs, True enough, the confirmation came and we led her to the sinner's prayers. The moment the amen was heard, her eyes blinked and we could see the sparkle. She left the place with a twinkle in her eyes and the smile on her face. It was indeed amazing!

The subsequent ministry revolved around teaching at the bible school, ministering at Raniganj and Suiri churches. Especially Suiri (6 hours travel to-and-fro), though long journey but the time was well spent. It was very fulfilling and satisfying to see lives being blessed and God's name being lifted high! One thing is sure: when God's people hunger more, He will full us till overflowing!
