Inception

After a long wait, FINALLY managed to catch this highly recommended movie today!
Why long wait?
1. Because i was about to leave for India when this show started to screen.
2. Because regina and i actually planned to watch it in JB, but by the time we wanna caught it, the show ended.
3. Because since i came back from India, the mondays were packed with stuff.

Pretty innovative and thought provoking plot.
Some scenes were pretty cool especially the 4D segments,
(esp when the actor and actress were on the street in their dreams).
No regrets of watching.

One Week

This is a tiring week!
To summarize, tiring is not a right word but rather feeling more lethragic and restless.b
Not sure if i run around too much visiting people, somehow energy is like draining out from me that i just feel collapsing anytime. Yet the interesting thing is when i reached home, i was energetic again. This body is so weird...haha thank God the owner is not :)

Quite fulfilling week as i managed to do a few home visitations and spoke to few members whom i wanna speak to but somehow no chance.
23.08 spent time with my mentee. Nice to spend one whole afternoon with her.
24.08 met mavis and talked a fair bit. It's wonderful to see another bs student.
25.08 thank God for dan and aaron who accompanied me to change the iphone that decided to go for a "baptism" in the sink.
26.08 visited 3 homes which i think was super tiring and i shall space out next time.
27.08 lunched with ps jack and sis alice, good as long time didn't speak to them.
28.08 went orchard with my 3 angels together with leb and jovin. Haha gab and gaius kept calling lebbeus reuben but i am sure they have fun with the couple. Then dinnered with jon and jake which was a good catchup. Planning for a JB trip too.
29.08 met up with a series of people from 11am to 3pm. Haha really socialising man.

No wonder i felt lethragic and restless as so much energy drained out.
But i still enjoyed myself as i felt fulfilled in touching and ministering to lives.
I think that is so cool as a pastor :D

We're Together Again

We're together again, just praising the Lord.
We're together again in one accord.
Something good is going to happen.
Something good is in store.
We're together again, just praising the Lord.

Weird

Feeling weird on this Sunday!
Because i am back here in Singapore, where last week i was still in Asansol India.
The feeling is .....
I don't know how to explain, but the worship is different, the atmosphere also 不同.

But i still enjoyed the presence of the Lord. He is still there. Still the same no matter where we are, most important is the heart of worship, the spirit of praise. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
We just have to sing praises and lift up His name.

A Spiritual Journey

This trip is indeed a spiritual journey. It is different from the past India trips.

The first one was a fresh trip, second an exploration of ministry trip, third an extension of friendship and confirmation of teaching ministry and this one was a deepening of spiritual relationship with God. There was a leap of faith and deepening of spiritual horizon as I continued to teach at the bible school and then did further ministry at the outstation churches in the evening. At least I could witness God's sovereignty in these places by using His yielded vessels. The spiritual hunger of the people accelerated the increase of the presence and work of God that rekindled the fire within me. The first love was rekindled that i longed for more of Him. I was very very much blessed by God's work in the midst of these hungry souls that I don't sense as much now here.

I thank God for this spiritual encounter and journey that is critical at this moment of my life.

While praying for confirmation, I will not stop here but will continue to stir the rekindling passion and desire within me.

Amazing God

One week passed!

Teaching in the Bible school:

3rd batch of students with new and old faces. Haha still find so difficult to remember their names but I am glad to see familiar faces. Faces that had walked through with me for the last 3 years and it is thrilling to see the fruits of labour. People like Gopal, Pritee and Bina make me feel warmth like going back to niang jia. This time, it was more relaxing and easy to teach. No PowerPoint, no ice breakers, no sweets yet God uses this mouthpiece to teach the book of Ruth. It is not the methods of teaching, but it is the Lord that makes the difference. I have found a great joy in teaching here as the students have the hunger to learn more. Sometimes I felt that I can't give as much as they long for. Praise God for them as they reignite the fire and passion of teaching within me.

That's the reason why I keep coming back :)

Ministry at Burdwan church
:

First night of ministry preaching to a 150 size church with all eyes looking at us when we walked into the hall. Powerful worship with hungry people crying out to the Lord. I really don't know what to preach, so really depending on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The presence of the Lord was there that He just moved among the congregation.

The ministry did not end here.

Suddenly there was a hand that pulled me while i was conversing with the people. The hand pulled me to this lady that caught my attention before the service when she was being carried in by 4 men. That reminded me the story of the paralysed man being pulled down by 4 men from the roof. Likewise she is paralysed and suffered from brain tumour. Because of the tumour, she was in the daze and could not speak. After praying for her, the Holy Spirit whispered that the work was not done yet. I decided to stoop down and look into her eyes. She was still in the daze and the eye balls were fixed at one direction. I asked the daughter if she is saved and received the negative reply. I asked the lady if she wanted to receive Christ, she would move her fingers. Upon asking the third time, i suddenly realised maybe she has difficulty moving her fingers, so i asked her to move her eyeballs, True enough, the confirmation came and we led her to the sinner's prayers. The moment the amen was heard, her eyes blinked and we could see the sparkle. She left the place with a twinkle in her eyes and the smile on her face. It was indeed amazing!

The subsequent ministry revolved around teaching at the bible school, ministering at Raniganj and Suiri churches. Especially Suiri (6 hours travel to-and-fro), though long journey but the time was well spent. It was very fulfilling and satisfying to see lives being blessed and God's name being lifted high! One thing is sure: when God's people hunger more, He will full us till overflowing!
