Library

If it's not for the kids, i doubt i will step into the public library unless necessary. I am more happy to see they are so excited to borrow books & kept bringing me this book that book, haha but many are not applicable at their ages. Haha so rejected & they would be back again with another set of books.

2 things happened in the midst of a library:

1. Wanted to find seats for them to read, saw this kid with no books on the table then decided to ask of sharing the table. Before i could ask, chloe sat down. Then this irritating kid shouted at her asking her to go away. Wah i cannot take it, so i told him off & "threatened" that i would tell the librarian of his selfish behaviour. Thank God the princess didn't react or cry. If not, i would really report him.
2. Went to a row of chairs to decide what books to borrow for the kids, then there is a mother & son sitting besides us. While she was trying to coach her son to read (i think the son is not a normal kid, with slight down-syndrom), he was easing away to our side trying to grab the book that i was reading to gaius. Initially i thought he wanted to hear the story, so i moved slightly nearer to him. Wah then out of the blue, he just snatched it away & gave a loud 'yeah'. The mother was shocked, snatched it back & kept apologizing to me. Then the son walked to the computer & started to push other kids away from it. I think she cannot take it, so dragged him away. Somehow, my sympathy went to her, cannot even sit properly to read a book.

What an episode! Well, take it as part of the colours of the day :)
