Away

Going to be away to India for 10 days..
Sitting on plane again..
BUT taking SQ, so i am fine with lots of shows to watch & team mates to talk to.
I think i will be tired leh. As didn't sleep well for the last few days, though body was tired yet mind was super active. Hopefully i can catch some sleep on flight.

Haha..this blog is going to be on "holidays" again, but the owner will try her best to update it over there. But not putting too much hope in it lah..

Wah..i hope i won't put on weight there as got lots of curry & curry. Worst of all, the dinner could be like Singapore time 11 plus..oh my gosh!

Back!
Well..you are right..i am blogging at this hour..
With my hair still wet & things to unpack, i guess my mind is still running active that i couldn't sleep even returning home like less than an hour ago. But well..at least i can afford to wake up late tomorrow before heading to a wedding lunch :D

Back also means returning to reality again after those few days of short break.
It is a good trip, not as rushing as the previous one & at least my legs didn't get bristers..haha but eunice did get hers..oops!
Taiwan is a lovely place to travel..lots of things to see, food to eat & stuff is quite cheap.
So for those who tend to go Bangkok frequently, probably can consider Taiwan too.
Erm..will blog some interesting things soon..so stay tuned.

Back also means going to start full swing of preparation for the India missions trip.
And i am going off again :D

Beautiful Sunday

It was a glorious morning..
All fresh & ready to preach at the Chinese service..
Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary, pure & holy, tried & true.
With thanksgiving, i'll be a living sanctuary for you.
That was my prayer when i stepped up to the stage..

Walked out from the audi trying to settle as much stuff as possible..because will be flying off to Taiwan in the early afternoon. Just a short trip, so didn't bother to tell many people about it. Haha some of you would say "Wah, so good life ah..thought just went to BJ not long ago? & now another trip?" Erm..to tell you the truth, this trip was not planned at all. Just that we had to clear leave & didn't want to spend one whole week in Spore, so decided to chiong for some places & Taiwan was chosen. By now, you would have known that i love to travel so don't be surprised! Haha..if anyone wants me to recommend any place, i would love to do so. JUST ASK ME K?

Then i was very encouraged when a few of the chinese congregation people came & told me that they had enjoyed the sermon. I give Him all the glory because it is God who anointed the mouthpiece to speak & declare His Word to His people. His Word never goes back to Him in vain & i was indeed blessed to be that mouthpiece.

Haha..so today is a beautiful Sunday. How about yours?

Mad Rush Again

Another round of mad rush again.

Yes..BUT i look forward to the coming mission trip to India.
Haha..i miss them.
Wonder how are most of them, though i did hear that a few did not go into full-time ministry after the graduation. Hope they are still around in church.
Haha..told my mum about this trip & she commented this "Wah, how come you like to go to places like Philippines & India? Go there & bring a man back lah!" Haha my mum really hor dying for her daughter to get married asap..can't wait to get rid of her out the house *faint*

Ok..back to the mad rush again. Modern Cults here i come :D

Rice

Can i really live without rice?
As i was eating my dinner, this question popped in.
Haha..to be frank i am not sure.
Sometimes i can go without it, but most of the time i can't.
I think the power of rice is upon me, somehow somewhere i will want to eat it in one of my meals. Yet people are eating less nowadays as it is a carbo item. Scare will get fat..Oh well!

My China relatives were amazed by the amount of rice i took during dinner - like 2 spoonful. They were saying "eat what ah? so little." But i just told them i would eat more dishes. Somehow i will still eat that 2 spoonful. Feel weird if i just eat dishes alone, like something is missing. Haha..the conclusion is "I can live without rice for awhile but not too long!"

Tip:
if you cannot live without rice, then i think you almost cannot "survive" in European countries.

Rest

A day of rest is so shiok.
A day of rest is what i need.
Yesterday's events have worn me out that i have to go to bed at 10pm & slept thru today till 11am, but the rest was good.
Thank God for Monday, a day of rest.

Now my house is more quieter after my parents brought the china relatives to Genting for a short holiday. Suddenly i miss my mum's cooking. Haha..for the next few days have to eat out. That makes me appreciate my mum even more. Thanks mum :)

Ok back to rest. I am prone to sleep again.
I wonder if there is anyone who sleep from the night before till the night of the following day, which is like 24 hours kind of sleep?

Everlasting God

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord..amen & amen!

Thank God for giving me the strength & grace to walk thru today after sleeping at 3am last night. Then this morning has to crawl out of bed & prepare myself to preach at the Eng Svc 1.
Thank God for enabling me to preach His Word including teaching cet later on. Then after the class, still met up a couple for their wedding arrangement.

If it's not His strength, i would have peng san on the spot.
Yes Lord, you are the everlasting God.
You do not faint or grow weary.
You comfort those in need.

Took Them By Surprise

Haha..my relatives were SURPRISED when i was MCing during my bro's church wedding & dinner banquet. They kept praising me saying i did very well & was natural about it. Not only that, they commented that i could sing well. Haha..i think i really took them by surprise. I was telling them how would i go around & tell people that i could MC & sing. Moreover, i can't possibly praise myself of the talents that God has placed into my hands. I thank God for giving me the voice to sing & ability to MC in weddings (haha..i think so :D). But i am really thankful that i could bless my bro & sis-in-law in this joyous occasion. Haha..my parents were also taken by surprise, never expecting their daughter can do all these & even told the relatives that i can play guitar. All glory to God!

It was a tiring day.
The night before, i was on bed by 1230am but couldn't sleep till 230am.
Then woke up at 530am & my bro was sleeping away on his big day. Haha..so i became his alarm clock. Then the brothers came one-by-one. Haha..the feeling was different esp if you have been coordinating & attending other people's weddings.

Off they went to fetch the bride while the rest of the relatives reported at my place for the tea ceremony. Finally, the bridal team came back & wow my sis-in-law is so pretty :) that's why people said women are the prettiest on their big day.

Off to church & i was pretty excited as that was the first time my parents & the relatives came to grace the occasion in a church's setting since my cousin's last wedding. Haha..& that was when i took them by surprise by standing in front of them on the stage for the first time. Haha..feel so different but it was cool.
Oh then my two lovely nieces being the flower girls looked so sweet & pretty.
I am thankful the whole thing turned out well & a little surprise when the couple chose the same song to surprise each other. Haha..what a pleasant surprise!

All in all, i have great time in the whole process. At least, i have taken them by surprise & earned myself another round of MC for my cousin's wedding next year. Well, be a blessing & you will be blessed, that is what i believe.

Off

Today i really slept 到够本..can't believe that i woke up at 11am. I need that!!
Don't worry, i didn't 吃蛇. I am on leave for the sake of clearing it. Also thank God that i took leave lah..at least i could bring my china relatives around.

Wanted to get a pair of silver shoes, but somehow didn't see any that i like. I guess i will stick to the gold shoes to match my dress for this sat's wedding dinner.

Wah today the rain was super heavy, but shiok to sleep lah. Hehe..AND I WAS AT HOME LEH! So of cos i went to catch a nap lah..how can miss such chance since i was on leave right? Haha, 不要羡慕哦!
The power nap was good :D
Anyone catch that in office? Oops....shhhh...

Come to think of it, today i really turned off from work matters.
Just wanna have time for my family & myself.
I just need that.

Happy

I have coordinated many weddings.
Today, this wedding rehearsal is special because it's my dear bro & future sis-in-law going through it. So kind of feeling different..
Haha..this time round, i am not coordinating but MC. The interesting thing because Gab is unwell, so couldn't come for rehearsal. Then i have to stand in for his position, haha the sight is so funny. They all started laughing & called me "page lady". Haha..but it's fun to walk down the aisle in this manner lah..well just enjoy the walk :D

Hmm..when will be my turn? Hehe...
Well..can't rush but wait.
Don't want to get married for the sake of getting married.
You will agree with me right?
Anyway, i am happy for my bro..congrats :)

Blessed

I am blessed today :)

On Sunday, during the "Love Your Neighbour" distribution to the community, one cell group reported of praying for this elderly lady, who was touched by our act of blessing. She kept saying that we are very nice. In the past, when we talked to her, she wasn't too friendly (probably more of cautious towards us lah). But the last 2 visits have shown her that we are genuine in blessing the homes. She allowed the cell group to pray for her, which was a breakthrough & a thrilling moment. Praise God for His favour!

Then today, together with auntie doris, we went to her home again trying to establish further contact with her. She was so happy to see us, telling us that she is touched by Christian love compared to her belief. Though she declined to be prayed (guess the main reason is guilt), she welcomes us to visit her again. What a day. I am truly blessed because i know the door is opened & such opportunity cannot be wasted to touch a life.

I am indeed blessed :)

Also blessed as i met up with a young sister, whom i have not spoken to for awhile. It was good to catch up & talk about stuff.

I guess this is what ministry is all about - TOUCHING A LIFE.
I don't want to be a minister that is stuck at the desk, but i want to be one that is touching a life constantly. Jesus went to the crowd & i want to be like that!

Busy

Going to be busy from today till mid of Nov..
Went to the airport to pick the relatives from Hainan Island, as they are coming over to attend my bro's wedding. Come to think of it, we have not met since Mar 2008. How time passes!
Then went to send car for inspection. The process was quite fast, which i must accredit to the efficency of the team.
Then chiong to TCA to return the books. Guess what, i just stuck there to read newspaper & borrow more books.
Finally, i have the time to settle down & do my final touch up of the paper.
God, help me to "slaughter" it asap, so that i can concentrate on my sermon prep.

Oops..off to ironing first for tomorrow's work attire.
