1D-2011

Finally today is the countdown.

I was invited to go night cycling but declined it as too energy draining and tiring for an "getting old" lady like me.

I was thinking how am i going to spend my last day of 2010.

In the early morning, received two calls of invitation.

Yes and that confirmed my program for the night.

Chiong from changi to fernvale, tiring but fun.

Both cells have a good time of thanksgiving and testimonies.

It is indeed meaningful to end the last day hearing and praising God's goodness and wonders :D

Counting down to 2011..
2 more days..

Was praying earnestly for one little baby girl since 2 weeks ago, when got to know that she suffers from a hole in the heart. She has to undergo heart operation to prolong her life, though she is not even two months old.
How can this be?
Yet we trust in the most high God, who brought her to this world and gave her the breath of life. We believe that surely there is a purpose.
Somehow, peace filled my heart knowing He is in control.
Throughout the 6 hours of operation, we prayed for His mercy.
After the 6 hours of operation, we praise God for His mercy.
Now she is able to breathe better and take in food normally.

God is awesome!

Today, played the last badminton game on wed in 2010.
Memorable but fun!
Went home to spend time with my beloved parents.
(Lord keep them healthy and let salvation come to them very soon)

Nothing Separates Us

One week ago, i attended jon and lynn's wedding dinner.
Many songs were sung, but only one song captivated my heart.
It is an old song that was sung in the era when i was zone 2 district leader and till now it is still so powerful. How awesome when it is God-inspired song!
It was recorded in the CD "Great Day"
(in case you may want to listen to this song again, you may ask me for that precious CD).

Romans 8:37-39 say:
"For i am convinced that neither death nor life,
neither angels or demons,
neither the present nor the future nor any powers,
neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the love of God
that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Thank you God for your love by sending your Son to die for me.
Thank you Jesus for your love by dying on the Cross to cleanse me.
Thank you Spirit for your love by guiding and comforting me.

Christmas

God is simply good, though things may not be good all the time.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.

His mercies never comes to an end.

They are new every morning. I am indeed thankful.

As i recollected, Christmas is also different this year.

1. received the most beautiful gift: my new god daughter, claudia low :D

2. experienced wonderful blessings of friendships :D

Super Backdated

It has been really awhile since i last blogged.

Asked me the reasons?

Well couple of them:

1. too lazy to blog

2. too busy to blog

3. chose to do other things than blogging

4. too many to blog

In the end, it was super backdated since nov.

Haha don't worry!

I am not MIA, just need the momentum and MOOD to blog again which obviously is slowly coming back to me.

To summarise what i have been through since 20 Nov till 20 Dec:

1. preparing sermons and sharing

2. catching up with admin and reports

3. meeting people and visitations

4. attending functions such as baby showers, wedding, cell thanksgivings and dinners, birthdays, reunion gatherings etc

5. doing Go Community project

6. organising Leaders gathering

Pretty fulfilling and engaging. I truly enjoyed those busy times!
