Haha sounds like Christmas..

Today we headed to 野柳风景区..very nice place..

We took a public bus there and spent one whole morning till 3pm

before heading back to the city.

Haha so exciting to go for this free and easy trip since we will be going around the whole island by our own. It is adventurous but going to be fun.
Now counting down to go airport!!
Hopefully no typhoons, no rains over there.
Lord watch over us :D

Overdue Testimony

While waiting excitedly for the coming Taiwan holiday trip from 20 sep -1 oct, this week would be a week of clearing backlogs, finishing reports and following up visitations of members. It is going to be a long yet busy week but it is ok as something good is waiting for me :D

I thank God for giving me the strength.
This is a long overdue testimony..sorry God :D
As i was driving on the road to office after visitation, i suddenly felt very giddy and painful..
If you are a driver, you would know that it is very dangerous. Worst of all, i was on the highway and there is no way of stopping. At that point, i whispered a prayer to God.
The moment i said amen, i could sense an electric current over my head and then instanteously i knew i was healed from the giddiness and pain. God is simply awesome and powerful!
Also thank God for His protection that i reached the place safely.

Ok for now, i am looking forward to the holiday trip :p

It has been awhile since the last BS.
4 musketeers gathered at kallang leisure on a PUBLIC HOLIDAY!!
Haiz..no choice as somehow i have a big headache arranging a common day with these 3 precious fellows. Thank God for each as i know they are serious and interested to grow in their spiritual journeys, so even if it's holiday, we still met for BS.

I enjoyed the time together studying and discussing on "Ordering your private world".
Not sure how it's going to work, but i am trusting God to direct and speak as we discuss and learn from each other.
I suppose it's the heart of learning and passion of growing that make the difference, else the time and effort will be fruitless. May God help us :D

Something good is going to happen, something good is in store.
So i look forward to the next BS.

Short Week

This is a short week.

Today is already Thursday and TOMORROW IS HOLIDAY!!!

Brought birthday present for gaius - done

Met up with 3 young adults - done

Haha not too bad.

At least accomplished somethings significant this short week.

Then what needs to be done?

Prepare sermon before i leave for trip - haven't even started

Buy gift for ella - going to

Change pesos - going to

Meet serene - going to

Oops better go and do my QT now..

Nice show..

It's about this nanny mcPhee (small c, big P), who teaches the 5 children great principles of living together under one roof.

5 great principles are:

1. To stop fighting is complete!

2. To share nicely is complete!

3. To help each other is complete!

4. To be brave is complete!

5. To have faith is complete!

You should see the scene when the children said they would rather share bed with a goat, a cow and an elephant than with each other, then she granted their wishes to tell them the important principle of sharing.

It's really funny when you see the piglets doing the synchronized swimming!

It's a warming show and good stuff to grasp at the end.

Thank God who is not like that. He will never leave nor forsake us and when we call upon Him, we shall be saved :D

Convenience

Nowadays church has become a convenience to many.
In fact, beliefs too.
Compared to the former days, now people
Look for what they want to look at.
Choose what they want to receive.
Go where they want to feel good.
It is a definite post-modernism.
Sometimes when i think back, it is not easy to run church. It's scary.
If you can't deliver to what people want, you lose them.
If you can't satisfy to what people seek, you lose them.
Conveniently, people look, choose and go to that church that they look at, receive and feel good.

Has Christianity really become a convenient faith?
I hope not **
