3 ladies make the difference on this day :)

Warzone

I have this neighbour staying few units away whose house is like a warzone..
Without fail, almost every morning, the mother & daughter would lift up their voices quarelling & arguing with each other. They would just fight their way through & everyone around them would get to know the cause of quarrels.
I thank God that i don't live under such environment. Except for here-&-there kind of arguments, other than that, it is peaceful & quiet totally contrast to that warzone.
Family environment does play a part in developing a person's character.
Somehow if you live under warzone kind of environment, your temperament will be like a fighter.
Somehow if you live under peaceful kind of environment, your temperament will be like in solace.

Today they quarrelled again. I can't help but thankful for my family :)

All Night Long

All night long, all night all night..
Conclusion:
I cannot tahan through the night till the wee hours in the morning. First few hours yes but not for the last 3 hours. I was counting stars, counting sheep..whatever i could count, i counted as have to keep my mind in "senile" stage since i was scheduled to interpret at its finale. I made it till 6am!
But fell straight to slumberland after wash up..zzzzzzzzzz!

Guess must be pretty tired. I couldn't believe it when i woke up.
IT WAS AFTERNOON 3.05!
Wow full 8 hours sleep..that's cool!

Come to think of it, age is catching up, so now cannot dong all night liao.
But well..at least i did it this time :)

Narrow Escape

Thank God for his protection.
Last night on my way back home after badminton, as i was driving along ave 3 in the middle lane, then i decided to swivel to the right side. After making sure no cars on the right, i turned the steering wheel. Out of the blue, the van in front suddenly jammed brake. If it's not for the alertness to sudden brake, my car would have hit its back or hit the oncoming car on the right. Wah..it is really a narrow escape. Though i was angry at the moment with that van, my heart leaped with thankfulness for His protection. I was thankful because i was super tired so would not be as alert. Yet at the split second, He reacted by moving my right leg to jam brake the car.

Nua

I like today..
Super nua & super slack..
Didn't do anything except watching DVD, eating yummy food cooked by mum then taking winks here-&-there..
Haha i realise nuaing one day is enough :)

Strengthened

After touching down Singapore on 22 midnight after a week of rest @ HK & reaching home around 1, then unpacked certain stuff from the luggage, then bathed, by the time i laid down on bed, it was almost 230am. While physically feeling the strain, but mentally i was pretty alert. I COULDN'T SLEEP AT ALL!
Wah this is bad! How am i going to preach the next day at 830am service?
Oh Lord help me........zzzzzzzzzz

23 morning, woke up with the don't-want-to-wake-up body & mentality, but managed to get myself out & ready to preach in the morning. Somehow, i felt strength within & could sense the hand of God upon me.
As i delivered the Word, i sensed the anointing. Though physically i felt the tiredness, deep in the Spirit i was strengthened. Even after that, i was able to attend a wake, went home for a short rest before heading to church again. Haha then felt even more strengthened after badminton.
What an eventful day.
Thank God for the strength.

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord :)

乌龟车

很好看的乌龟车，慢慢欣赏！

Excited

Yeah..tomorrow :)
Awaited for the long break & it is tomorrow!
Partly excited because of the break, partly excited also because going with a group that may never come together again for holiday.
Whatever it is, i am sure we will have a good time together eating & feasting.
Haha i better watch my diet but then holidaying leh, so think will be quite challenging to do so. Bo chap lah, eat first then 减肥 later :)

Wah going to wake up at 3am for the flight at 630am. This is madness!
But then the madness is worthwhile lah. After all, how many times can you be that mad right? Like one of my friends commented "Wanna mad, then mad all the way!"
Haha yes i will be mad all the way (mad with my pocket too).

Draw

Gab loves to draw..wanted to bring him to this art competition but then realised he cannot take part because he is underaged. He was super disappointed, so decided to take him to vivo city & let him draw the monorail train in-&-out of sentosa. Though it's not competition, we have fun together. He even drew crowd to see what he was drawing..something different that the people didn't see others doing at that area :)

More

For these 2 weeks, i have been hearing good news..
Though it got nothing to do with me, i am seriously happy for the people concerned..
Haha i am hoping for more to come..Good things should come more :)
Haha when will i have my good news?

Haha i think my immediate good news is to go to HK for whole of next week.
Will have more chance to get to know the travel mates..
Will have more chance to minister to one another..
Will have more chance to look at the country again..
How exciting & i hope for more to come :)
So the moral:
"Eunice, when will be our next trip together? Haha i am waiting for the day to CAMBODIA!"

I am sure many want more holiday trips, more bonuses, more cash..
How about more faith, more joy, more patience..

Table Tennis

Ever since we move temporarily to the new premise, i look forward to playing the table tennis. Likewise today, i wanted to do that. To my "shock", the one & only orange ball was flatten. Can't even play at all..so sad!

The moment i saw the table in the school, i was thrilled & looked forward to find someone to play with me. Haha i only managed to play with reub..

All along, i love to play table tennis. I remembered when i was staying at Geylang Bahru during my secondary school days, i would go together with my neighbours to the void deck & play the game for 1-2 hours. I sort of picked it up pretty well & almost joined the school team when i decided to forego, as it required alot of time & i already have another cca (npcc).

The moral of the blog is "I WILL HAVE TO GET NEW BALLS!" (if i rem)

Also thrilled to get my new badminton racket last week :)

O Happy Day (Prac)

Oh Happy Day (Theory)

Last few days, the weather has been terrible.
SUPER HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!
Worst of all, plus showers of thunder & rain. YET IT IS STILL HOT!
No wonder, many are falling sick - hot then cold then hot.
One day i remembered when i got into my car, the temperature indicated as 38 degrees,
i nearly freaked out. I told auntie doris "It's 38. Wah we are like fried eggs oredi!"

In spite of the hoooooooooooot weather, i am still happy!
In spite of being misunderstood, i am still happy!
I remember this song
"O happy day, O happy day, when Jesus washed, He washed my sins away."
It keeps me happy because Jesus is with me :)

May everyday be a happy day to you when you walk with Jesus!

Done

Praise the Lord.
Managed to finish one sermon before i leave for my HK trip next week.
Just have to edit & do final touch up before preparing for the powerpointtttttt.
I don't know why but today is really a tiring day.
I don't know yawn how many times within that second.
I think many germs are killed by those yawns.
Lord grant me strength since i still have the night to finish.
At least i am more relieved finishing the sermon that i am scheduled to preach on 23 May, one day after i return from the trip.

I am going to have fun next week as there are lots of things to settle before i leave.
But i am loving it :)

If someone tells me this, i will surely melt :p

Hidden

There are certain things that we do or carry, may have their hidden meaning.
Like when i was watching the news today, those coloured bends that young people wear on their hands actually carry sexual meanings. In Brazil, a girl was reported to be raped by 3 young men because she was wearing the colour bend that signified sexual preferences.
That is scary.
I am someone who likes to wear accessories, so i have to be more careful in the selection.
If not, i can become the laughing stock or invite "danger" unnecessarily.

Nua

I have a wonderful monday!
Really nua the whole day :)
Haha like 太太like that, ruth & i went for lunch together then rattled on & on over the nice japanese meal that ruth ultimately blessed me. We were like enjoying the free time we got..shopping a little while..buying some stuff..getting kopi before heading back to the little hut of mrs tay. Haha then saw the little angel thaleia playing with her, praying for auntie before heading home.

One word to summarise the monday: NUA
People got monday blues, but i have monday nua!!!!
Haha supposed to write my sermon but bo chap lah..nua first :)

Labour with the Kids

Labour with the kids on this public holiday, but it is fun labour.

We have fun time in taking circle line..playing on the roof terrace..

eating yummy dinner..feasting over cups ice cream..

admiring beautiful night scenes at marina bay..joking with the kids.

What else can we complain about but give thanks for everything :)
