Another Goddaughter

Today is the day that the Lord has made & i will rejoice in Him & be glad in it :P

Besides dyeing & highlighting my hair under the most beautiful hands of sis bing, i found another wonderful gift.

TODAY, I HAVE ANOTHER GODDAUGHER HERE IN ILOILO CITY!!

Her name is Mikaela Grace aka Ela, daughter of ps jessie & mercy (my long-time & most warm friends you can find in this earth). God has blessed the couple with such an adorable, gorgeous & angelic girl that i can't help but thank God for His faithfulness. They have married for long, waited for long & now reaped in return such a beautiful gift. God is faithful!

My heart leaps with joy when i first saw her. Hey eyes remind me of my godchildren in Singapore & i am amazed by the hands of the Creator, who made these lovely kids & brought joy to people around them. (note: i miss them :)

The Graduates

Fun-loving people & super loves to take pictures.
In fact, i think most Filipinos like to do that. Once you said "take photos", they never said "no" but more than glad to do it.

Praise God that i can get to know them & impart into their lives :)

All By Myself

Second day of teaching at the bible school has just ended.
2 more days to go & i think before i realise it, friday will come.
Indeed had enjoyed myself with the students.

Something different this time.
I did not stay in the bible school but decided to stay at the hotel.
I travelled with analyn to the bible school on the public jeepney.
I was alone at the hotel, eating dinner & walking around by myself.
Haha..not bad lah. At least tried something different this time & i discovered i could find things to entertain myself. Thank God for internet that i could chat, watch, play & work around. Oops! to the point that i forgot to start studying for the coming exams.

Sometimes, it is good to be all by myself.
I sorted out the decision that i have been struggling for long time.

Here

Finally i am here in Iloilo..a place that i always enjoy coming back :)
It's a place of refreshment, renewal & reunion.
I miss all the old friends here & it is so good to see them again.
Haha..the first few faces that usually greeted me is Ps Nelson & family. They are just lovely people whom i am so proud & glad to have befriended with. Their hearts of service, dedication & love amazed me. I simply salute this family & the other pastors for committedly serving the Lord & His people.

Here is a nice place. People are simpler, warmer & friendlier.
I am going to enjoy myself here for the next 8 days, though the weather is going to be super hot but well..no pain no gain!

Going to the bible school to teach tomorrow :) so guess better sleep early. Do keep me in prayer. Do also pray for the BCM team + Mavis who are going to 2 schools for ministry tomorrow as well.

Flu Bug

Nose is seriously stuck!
I couldn't even breathe properly :(
Jialat..this flu bug is really catching on me since friday.
Yet i am amazed at how God strengthened me from fri till today.
From extended prayer meeting to airport to wedding to it fair to mm gathering to sunday services..this is no joke. Yet God is the strength of my life. TQ!

Recently the weather has been very bad. Hot like siao, even raining doesn't seem to cool down the weather. Also got haze. More people are terribly falling sick with this kind of 天气.
Today i really felt it when i was sitting at the visitor's corner. My whole body is like a jelly, no mood talk to people & just wanna get home to sleeeeeep. Thank God for an understanding colleague, who "released" me in sharing at the youth CLT. I appreciate :)
The moment i reached home, i chiong for the bed as if i have not slept for ages. Woohoo plus the heavy downpour that made my power nap even more "powderful".

Hey do take care of yourself under such weather & drink LOTS of water.
Keep me in prayer as i leave for Philippines this morning.

Cockcoach (II)

I cannot imagine what i saw just now :)
Happily preparing to take my shower, then lo-&-behold the cockcoach that i shared about yesterday, the persistent one that made the successful crawl INTO THE WATER HEATER, suddenly fell off from the hole of the heater. I was like win liao lor..to think that it never came out since yest & had made its shelter in that fatal place. Haha..what a place it has chosen that i supposed it kena the heat when the heater was turned on. Haha..cockcoach in suana..not bad!! The story hasn't ended. Our dear "friend" fell off nevermind leh, it even lost 2 of its legs. I guess must be kena burnt by the heat lor..don't know should laugh or cry. Laugh because it's so funny, cry is because so poor thing-didn't die yet lost 2 legs.

What spiritual lesson to learn from this ah?
I don't know leh but maybe the best thing is LAUGH IT OUT!
Sometimes we just need to do that, to feel better & also let out the air inside, whatever air that may be. Just let it go!

Haha..that cockcoach really made my day :)

Cockcoach (I)

In the bathroom saw this "interesting" cockcoach. Slowly it made its climb up on that slippy wall, wondering if it can make it. Somehow this cockcoach is like the reborn lizard. It did not give up, though a few times it tripped abit & almost fell off. Even a cockoach can have such "die-hard" attitude, amazing! Suddenly the Holy Spirit spoke, reminding me that i must press on & don't give up. Even though the wall is slippy, may trip & fall, i can make it.

Many many times, God uses anything to speak to us.
Even a cockcoach because all are created by Him, so He can use any method & anything to tell you truths. He is a creative God :)

3 Pimples

3 more pimples "reported" again :p + 2 ulcers..
Now i am really 发热了!
I need to drink more "liang" stuff & no heaty stuff..
Better don't get sick as will be leaving to Philippines next monday liao. Heard that the weather over there is super bad (hot!!!!), then the more i have to or else can't teach effectively. Lord, please grant me strength & healing to keep my body cool & steady :0

I have fun today, teaching a bunch of young people in elim on discipleship. They reminded me those days when we had step program & how we went through the 3 months stuffing as much stuff as possible to them. Haha...the stoney faces in the afternoon nappy hours, the tons of titbits on the table, then the grinny faces when they hear the magic word "break". How memorable! Then saw ps cat pushing them to buck up & "stressing" them to grow spiritually. Those were the days.
Wah..4 years had passed man! How scary!
But well, like what i told the young people, treasure these times as they may not have the opportunity to come together as a team for 3 months learning from different people & going to the field.

So my friends, treasure what you have now.
Don't take anyone or anything for granted :P

Wounded Healer

What a powerful declaration!!

I enjoy reading this series of EDWJ, very uplifting & ministered by the words :)
Searching for direction, asking for answers, these words came along:
"No other god can speak to my condition because no other god has been in my condition. Nothing can be more wonderful in earth and heaven than to know that when i come to Jesus, i come to One who has worn our flesh, measured its fraility and knows exactly how i feel."

Because God came and put Himself in my situation, He fully understands me. How amazing!
He is a God who gave Himself to me in this way, is a God who can have my heart any day :)

Pray this along with me if you are searching for direction & asking for answers.
"Daddy, what a security it gives me to know that You act on the same principles You hold out for me. I am in the hands of a God who is loving, truthful and consistent. The above has been repeatingly going on for like 2 weeks..UNBELIEVABLE!
I am amazed by myself. How on earth did i get myself overdosed in this?
But well..
