My Restaurant

Haha..my restaurant is growing!!
And i have 8 workers now including myself :)
Anyway, don't know when i will get sick of it. Just play till i get bored.
Those who play this game, have you ever wondered if you are one of the workers, be it the cook, waiter or cleaner, then who is the boss? Then it's your own restaurant & you are part of the worker force, just no logic right?

Haha..i really got nothing better to do but to think of this. I am amused & amazed by myself :)

A Kiddy Night at NS

NS = Night Safari
Yes, i went there with 3 kids & 1 big kid. Haha..but this excursion came after a long wait for the kids to recover from their one-by-one-sick-then-get-well kind of situation. Finally, we are going. But guess what? Around 4 plus, the big kid suddenly sms that he has a slight fever so may not be able to make it. Oh my gosh, how am i going to cope with 3 kids? And they are waiting for us to fetch them at 530 with high expectancy & excitement? Oh dear..so i prayed! Hehe..the power of prayers worked! The big kid said "Just go, because my fever has gone down & i will be fine", though i wasn't too reluctant to do so. Nevertheless, we went!
Wow, you must see their big eyes of excitement (though their eyes are already very big), when we reached their place. They are waiting at the door for us!

Haha..four interesting things happened!

1. We turned out at the wrong highway on the way to NS, then we also went the wrong way when we came back.


2. We queued the whole night, from buying tickets to sitting tram to watching animal show.


3. We were entertained by flower girl & botak when they used their toy handphones to take pictures during the tram. Imagine taking pictures even when there is no animal to see & they told you that they are taking the trees.


4. We went to the animal show (our final stop) & botak told us that he is calling the elephant to appear at the animal show with his toy handphone.

How funny & entertaining can it be, though all of us were tired already. But one thing for sure, we won't be going back there at least for the next few months :)

Funeral

Just received news that uncle has passed away at his final stage of the stomach cancer.
It is a relief for him, as he no longer has to suffer physically.
During the 5 days wake, the cousins have the time to interact & update each other. Hmm..i was thinking how ironical it is that we have to catch up during funerals & weddings..悲哀!

I AM STRESSED

What kind of equation can i come out with? Well..it's that bad.
But then God is so good! He reminded me that it is a GOOD stress because i am studying His Word deeper & juggling time management with other stuffs.

Sometimes we think that stress is no good, however at times it does push us to perform & break out from our comfort zone. It depends how we perceive it because i also cannot deny that others may not take stress as well. I think nowadays as young as small kids like 5 years old, faces tremendous demands & stress. Life is really isn't getting better in that sense.
That's why PEOPLE NEED THE LORD!

New Friends

Someone ever said "the older you are, the lesser friends you will have."

Erm..not sure if you agree with the statement, but i guess there must be some meaning in it.

Haha..for me i will strongly & vehemently avoid + refuse such thing to happen to me. I am sure we have friends come and go. Some stay with you a little longer, some go through thick & thin with you, while the rest just touch & go.

Recently have been making quite a couple of new friends. This is a good thing because it is always good to know more + new people.

Maybe the statement should be "the older you are, the lesser superficial friends you will have."

God's Gift

When a child is born, you are amazed at God's beautiful handimake.
Can't remember exactly when did i start to love kids, but whenever i am with them, i feel YOUNG, HAPPY & LOVED.

Young because you can play with them, even those childish actions & games. You just don't mind looking stupid or nonsensical.

Happy because they somehow have this magic potion to cheer you up, even when you are tired physically. Somehow there is this unseen energy arising out of your belly to smile & laugh with them.

Loved because you just want to love them without expecting any returns. Wow, they make your day when you receive their warmy hugs & wetty kisses.
Haha..suddenly feel so inspired to write about these gorgeous kids. All thanks to seeing one of my good friends, David & Ruth, dedicating their first love gift "Thaleia Tay". AND I AM THE HONOURED ONE DEDICATING HER! Hooray :)

Restaurant City

Haha..i can't believe it. I AM PLAYING RESTAURANT CITY!!!! All thanks to RF :)
Never imagine i will do that in facebook as i am not the game person, more of a picture person but still don't really upload many photos up there.

As usual, blur like sotong..just gain money & points first. Haha..hope i can sustain through it & build bigger, nicer restaurant (haha..now mine is cmi one). For those who want to trade ingredients, please pardon me for not accepting as still trying to figure out how it works..Haha..cmi right? See i told you, it takes me ages to hook to the game one. 4 Long Years

4 long years before i stepped into the gates of the bible school to further my theological studies.
A new beginning, BUT also a new challenge.
It's not going to be easy especially when the older you get, the tougher the brain cells can absorb (erm..i am not that old though!).

Erm..the feeling is different after 1st day of class. Unfamiliar faces except a few good men from the same church. Unfamiliar lecturer..i realise how much i miss Ps May Ling's lectures. Then familiar topic but chim words as i was scratching my head from the start till the end of the lecture. Really CMI!

Well, since now i am on this ship, i will buck up & do my best lor. At least something for me to work on it & look forward to achieve some results.
Haha..some of you will hear from me soon where i will tell you "I AM STRESSED!"

Mother's Love

Being IC of this meaningful & lovely event for our church is indeed honourable. Not just because i have a good bunch of working committee that cracked all the ideas & squeezed out their brain juices till dry dry (TQ & i really thank God for you, amanda..may..gab..samuel..woon hui & of course sheng), more so because mothers are indeed special people in the community of God.

Though the whole program was loonnggg..haha maybe super lonnnnggg, i was very much encouraged by the love of mothers towards their families during the interview time. The messages of persistence & trusting God in the upbringing of each family unit ministered to my heart, reminding me to always appreciate my mummy. I guess appreciation is not enough, but in reaching out to her with God's love & grace. Will continue to pray for her salvation & love her as who she is, because she is my one & only mummy that i ever have.

I am sure you are smart enough to guess where the place is.
On this very day (somemore holiday), 3 musketeers thinking that we are smart enough to cross over early, diddddnn realise that there are equally other smart people to go there too. Guess what..we took 2 hours to reach city square due to the long and super long queue. Haha..was wondering how come these people don't stay at home on Labour Day. Haha..guess they think the same way like us to "labour" out on the Labour Day.

From the above activities, you would have known that is what we exactly did. BUT WE HAVE FUN! Great company to be with (haha..becos got me mah!)
Tell you something: "we go there so often even the seafood auntie can recognise us even from far."
Power right? So next time, if you want to cross over, let me know & i can recommend you..haha i can become the JB promoter liao.
