Came to Tigbauan 3 years ago in her midst of reconstructing the lecturer's room. In those times, i visualised myself staying there. Though it is not a hotel, it is a cosy & small little hut. The feeling is like staying at the kampong area, which i guess many of us do not have such experiences back in Singapore.
Now i am here. Haha..going to have fun staying by myself in that small little hut after 3 years.
Going to have fun teaching the 6 graduating bible school students. Haha..most of all, the fun of coming back here again for ministry.
Ok..830am..ready? Set? GO!!!! 7 of us teaching & learning from 9am to 1230pm, 4 to 6 pm and 745 to 930pm. Since i have only 1 week to finish the subject, no choice but to pia before they can graduate on Saturday. Hmm..hours seem long but not too bad. At least the students could rest in the afternoon (esp hot during these hours, not hot but SUPER hot!).

After 3 Years
Wow..after 3 years, i finally stepped into Iloilo Philippines again.
First time landed into the new airport, which is super different from the last one.
First time saw Ps Nelson's new church location at Mandario, which is far better than the city one.
First time having no difficulty logging into the net at the hotel, which is harder than the last trip & i still remembered Cat & myself have to go to certain corner of the hotel room for assess.
Haha..it was great catching up with Ps Nelson & family, who have been long time friends with me (since 10 years ago..old liao). It is amazing to see that though we are separated by distance, the bond is still strong. Praise God for being part of the Kingdom of God!
I will be preaching at 2 services tomorrow at Lapaz, i.e. one at 8am & the other at 5pm. Gonna to be fun since i last preached at the same place. Ok, gonna sleep liao as body is super weary after a day of travel & activities. Do keep me in prayers! Not forgetting the youth team that is here with me too :)

I Enjoyed Myself
For the last 3 days, we have been ministering at the RR leadership camp.
Personally, i have enjoyed myself, not only in the preaching, but more so the way God moved among the young leaders during the campfire services.
On the 1st night, i preached on the topic "Are you a lost generation?"
On the 2nd night, from being the born-again generation, i further challenged them on "Are you a distorted generation?"
On the 3rd night, after pushing them to look beyond just being saved & challenging them to consider their faith as "If it is right, it works" instead of "If it works, it is right", i talked about "Are you a impacting generation?"
Wow..at the final night, the Spirit of God just moved. I just asked every young leader to pray out loud for their commanders. After that, the commanders turned around & prayed for them. That's it! I didn't do much, but the presence of the Lord was so real that everyone interceded for one another. Didn't even realise that by the time we ended everything, it was already past 12. Awesome!
Though it was a back-to-back ministry (i will be leaving for Philippines on sat), physically it was siong, i had gained much more. Fed + Fat spiritually. More to share when i go over to Philippines! Wait for my news. Chaos!

A Narrow Escape
Wow..we have a narrow escape on Wednesdayyyy night!
Super happening man!
Leb & myself were invited to lead worship & preach at the RR camp. As this was our first time to the campsite, we weren't sure of the location. Out of "arga-ration", we just figured our way there with the help of John's direction. Haha..after passing one school, we couldn't find it, so we U-turn back then turned into a small lane. As i was on the phone with Sheng getting direction, Leb drove along the small road with moderate speed. In front of us, green traffic light was on. Then this young lady on her headphones & smsing at the same time, didn't even see that the light was GREEN! And she just walked across!! Lo-and-behold, thank God that Leb was alert enough to stop the car & flashed at her. 3 of us were caught in a shock! What a narrow escape! If Leb was not quick enough, that's it man!
Really thank God for His protection.
